Organizatonal
- During the seminar, a summary paper ("Ausarbeitung") and an oral presentation shall be prepared by each participant. Both paper and presentation slides are to be prepared using the Latex system. Paper and presentation can be composed in German or English.
- Presentations will be held as a block seminar towards the end of the lecture period (tentatively planned on 28, 30 and 31 Jan 2025). Every participant is expected to be present during all talks.
- Each presentation should have a length of 45 minutes (plus discussion).
- The summary paper dicsusses the topic, model, and research question, the main result(s) as well as important ideas of the analysis in your own words.
- The summary paper should have a length of 10 A4 pages (excluding references and figures, single line spacing, 11pt font size, 2-3cm margins).
- For preparation and clarification, please coordinate at least one meeting with your mentor until mid-November.
- The summary paper is to be submitted to your mentor by 30 Nov 2024. The complete slides are to be submitted to your mentor by 8 Jan 2025.
