Every weak we release a "research problem". In the tutorials we meet and try to solve it in a group setting. The problems might be open problems or not. The goal is to learn how to conduct research. We might solve it, we might not. Everyone should try to actively contribute to the discussion. Bring in new ideas, discuss, add, or disprove presented ones. Please do not look up the problems beforehand. If someone comes to the session with the complete solution they looked up it ruins it. You should actively participate in 60% of sessions to be admitted to the exam, just showing up is not enough(!). It is okay to go do a different group in case you cannot go to your group in a week. If there are issues meeting the 60% please contact me and we find a solution. Every session should have a (different) moderator to steer the discussion. Being moderator will count as 2 participations.
